In the summers of 1986- 1990 Prentice’s two sons, Prentice Jr and Jason Freeman, worked for the roofing company part-time during High School and for several years after graduation.
In 1990, Prentice L. Freeman Jr. graduated from Milwaukee Trade and Technical High School with a 4-year Plumbing Shop Certificate.
In those 4 years Prentice gained a vast knowledge of the plumbing industry in the areas of Design, Drafting, Code Research and Systems Installation.
This knowledge would prove to be of great value in Prentice’s future business ventures.
In 1993, Prentice L Freeman Jr enrolled in the Steamfitters Local 601 HVAC apprenticeship program and received his journeyman’s license in 1999.
In 2004, he incorporated the company as P.L. Freeman Co. and since its founding we continue to serve the ever-changing needs of our customers and demands of the industry.
